Bio-Technology

The field of Bio-Technology is extremely supervised by the Federation. Any kind of technology that involves implants or body modifications is needed to be approved by the Federal Health Agency prior to development.

Medical implants such as prosthetic are a common sight, but they are always approved by case to case basis and are very expensive. The medical field is also using certain nano-machines for various medical applications and treatments, but they are never being used for body improvements.

The majority of the non-medical body improvement implants are approved only for armed forces personnel. There is a small line-up of products that can be used by citizens, but they are usually considered as toys for the rich and not common to see.
